The ECKG power station, operated by KEB company ECKG, is coal-fired. State-of-the-art technology converts the fuel into electricity and steam. Efficient flue gas purification systems reduce air pollution levels. Environmental protection and the prevention of air pollution were important criteria in the construction of the plant. Capacity is 343 MW electrical and 272 MW thermal.
